1. Platform Overview & Mechanics
What is TopToken and how does it work?
TopToken is a permissionless, proof-of-capital attention leaderboard for the Web3 ecosystem built natively on the BNB Chain. Instead of relying on subjective review boards, ad networks, or vote-manipulated aggregators, TopToken ranks tokens, DeFi protocols, and Web3 projects based strictly on verified cumulative cryptocurrency contributions committed to their listing.
Does ranking position imply endorsement, safety, or financial advice?
No. Positional rank represents strictly paid economic visibility. TopToken does not conduct financial audits, evaluate investment potential, verify team credentials, or endorse any listed token. Users must always conduct independent due diligence before interacting with any decentralized protocol or purchasing any digital asset.
What is the difference between All-Time and Today’s Leaderboard?
The All-Time leaderboard reflects cumulative contributions committed to a project since its inception. Today’s leaderboard aggregates only contributions confirmed within a rolling 24-hour window (86,400 seconds), highlighting current trending projects and newly energized communities.
2. Adding & Boosting Projects
How do I add my token, memecoin, or project?
You can add any project directly from the homepage. Enter the token contract address, website URL, or platform link into the input bar, select your project category, and commit the minimum entry contribution. The metadata resolver will automatically fetch the token symbol, name, and logo.
Does TopToken support pump.fun, four.meme, and DEX links?
Yes. TopToken features native deep resolver integrations for pump.fun, four.meme, DexScreener, Birdeye, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, BscScan, Solscan, Uniswap, and PancakeSwap. When a token link from these platforms is provided, TopToken resolves the token’s underlying contract address, ticker, and visual assets automatically.
What are the minimum contribution amounts?
The protocol enforces a minimum entry contribution of $5.00 USD for adding new projects, and a minimum boost of $1.00 USD for adding capital to existing listings.
Can anyone boost any project?
Yes. TopToken is completely open and permissionless. Token founders, core contributors, community members, and enthusiastic holders can all contribute to boost any project’s rank at any time.
3. Payments & On-Chain Settlement
What currencies and blockchains are supported?
Direct Web3 checkout runs natively on BNB Chain (BSC) supporting BNB, USDT, and USDC via the non-custodial TopTokenPay smart contract. Additionally, the integrated multi-chain merchant gateway enables contributions using Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and over 100+ alternative cryptocurrencies.
How long before my contribution updates on the leaderboard?
On BNB Chain, transactions are verified after 15 block confirmations (typically 45–60 seconds). Once confirmed on-chain, the leaderboard updates in real-time, accompanied by live audio-visual feedback and activity ticker events.
Are contributions refundable?
No. All payments are final, non-refundable, and non-reversible. Once committed to the smart contract or payment processor, funds directly alter the public leaderboard ranking and cannot be returned under any circumstance.
4. Security, Moderation & Reporting
How does TopToken handle malicious projects and phishing links?
TopToken employs automated SSRF guards, punycode detectors, homoglyph analysis, and real-time blacklists to block known drainers and impersonation attacks. Outbound links are routed through safety screening gateways. If a project is verified to be fraudulent, administrative multisig signers can flag or hide the project from public indexing.
How do project outbound links work?
When a visitor clicks on a project row, they are safely redirected to the verified project website or DEX trading terminal with privacy-preserving telemetry tags.
